Ok this may not be the right place to ask this question but after seeing some of eugenes post on the delta now I am lost. Alot of the coils that i have seen have been made out of copper and glue down with an epoxy. Some have a faraday shield in place as well as the covers. now I see these delta detectors and they have what appears to be a cat 5 cable of some sorts in them. i also have seen sooooo many different sizes of wire to use. so to get to the question when it says turns in a coil say for this detector does that mean the circumference or is it how many times the wire is spun around itself? I know this may be a stupid question but I would really like to know this because the delta PI looks awesome to build...Thanks...

hi fastman50,

I'm also a beginner in MD and in coil parameters,
but I read the tutorial I post and I find in it many useful info about coil costruction.
I hope this can help you.

Regards
Stefano
