im having problems with coil connectors for a HH1 and a XR71. i have PXT1000 cable for both detectors for its quality. i need some connectors for harsh weather. if anyone has advice it would be a big help. thank you

Well,
I use these "audio locking line connectors".
You can get them in 2,3,4 or 5 pole varieties.
Available from "maplin" here in the u.k. but I would think they must be available in the U.S.
They are a really solid fit as the plug collar screws onto the socket.
Good and "water resistant too......

my problem lies with my cable being 0.325 dia. i was looking at some of switchcrafts stuff but dont know

Obtain the one that is the next larger type.

Place heat shrink on the cable to make up the gap.

It will stiffin the wire from ware too! Wise
