Tuxnor . I was the first person to put the complete schematics of the original  DBP 2010 0n this forum .  Some guys tried to make it better and started to re-draw the original schematic . Why they did this I don't know , other than trying to get some credit for themselves . There has not been  put  ONE complete schematic on this forum . So you have  to keep on begging for more information . Some guys get a cick out of that . The original DBP2010 is fantastic . Why ?  Because I built two of them and they did everything expected from them . . Cornelius

Hi,
i have just made the DBP2010 and gave it a test run (Thanks, Cornelius, it's a great device). I got 4 m with 1m X 1m probe. Is that what i should expect or should i get more?

regards,

d.

Darkkitten . I am glad to hear that you pulled it off . You may get a different depth by changing the coil . You have to play around a lttle here .  Measure the total length of Cu wire you should fave to use in the smaller coil . Use the same length in the  4x4 coil . Keep the wire  diameter the same . Have fun with your detector and keep us informed about its working . Make sure you are using powerful batteries .   Cornelius
