Danijel.  You have done a most exellent job on the PCB board of the DBP 2010 . It looks realy professional . Congratulations with that . I am glad that you are so happy with this unit . One question I have though and that is , in the picture you mailed  I could not make out how you placed the pot-meters  P7 , P6 and P8 .  Are the rest of the componenets place in the same places as on the original design ?  I will build one by using the board as you have made . I wonder if you have a print of the componant placement  . Regards  Cornelius

Hi Cornelius,
well, thanks, most of elements are in exact the same place as in oroginal PCB, the differencis are as follows: resistors around P7, P6, P8 are slightly dislocated (see schematics), resisror marked Rv is now on the PCB, there is an extra space near capacitors C5 and C10 (i had to make 12nF by combining 10nF and 2 nF in parallel), connections goes like this: P7, P6, P8, det/bat switch, 100 uA meter, P5, loudspeaker. See pictures.

regards
d.

.. and please note the transistors polarity, most (but not all) has been turned for European pinning, the exceptions are the Darlington (T5 - main board) and T1 in the corner of the module.

d.

Hi Darkkitten

The other day I did not have the time to have a good look at the PCB that you posted so I took the time to have a good look at it all last night and I must agree with Cornelius you did an excellent job of it all WELL done.

Regards Xavier

Hi Xavier, Cornelius,

thank you, Cornelius, you published it first.

Xavier, when i uploaded the PCB, the server made JPG from GIF, and it's not sharp or in size, if you'd like print-ready file i'll have to e-mail it to you.

regards
d.

Danijel  , I had no problem with the files you put on the net . I copied them and put them on my copier . With the paint program I brought them back to the right size .   Cornelius

Sorry D.K. , I misunderstood, I though you had made a single board, but I still need the two board artwork to make good sharp tranparencies... so I will private mail you to give you my email. thanks
