Hi Tuxnor

Could you tell me who is the manufacturer of that solar panel and how much does it cost?

Hi Darkkitten

My apologies Embarrassed I was sure that I had sent you a mail to your private address but did not.
I printed it with a laser printer and it looked very good.

D.k.,how is your board different  than the earlier DBP2010 posted? Have you considered the czech single board design posted here? Is the piggyback board design made to isolate the pulse signal away from the receive/ amp section? Is that where the problem is?

Hi wil,

first, this is not my board, but just one i could find in the net and seemed to be the easiest to clean the graphich from the "fog" cumming from frequent GIF-JPG etc transformattions. This happend to be pretty much the close copy of original PCB design whitch used to be sold as do it yourselfe kit years ago. I do not know the czech design, but if everything is connected as it should be (electrically speaking) it shoulden't be any different than "mine" and it should serve as well. However, the designers of original PCB seemed to believe to be better to isolate the sensitive switching module from possibel (probabel) interferences comming from pulse generator and various oscilators in the main board. This is usually done by proper shilding in the main board, but since this was solder it yourselfe kit, i believe they just simplified it by placing the circuit on two boards.

hope this explains...

regards
d.
Hi,
is anyone considering to upgrade DBP2010 with better pulse generator (i.e. 50A IGBT, at least 24V power supply)?

Thanks for the reply D. K., Yeah I also noticed some background haze on those files, makes it  hard to make any king of transparency. Ok, on the pulse isolation. I also noticed on the deepminer 4 , their is an iGBT  seems like overkill for a metal detector. thy use those on welders, and plasma cutters.

Hi,
electrosoft, the transistors are all reversed (not only one you marked) but darlington MPS A14. This was done to accomodate European BC XXX pinnout (CBE). The darlington used was American (Fairchild) and uses EBC pinnout. See proper data sheet(s) of transistor you are going to use, before using them, if you are not shure how to connect them. I have been already talking about that few posts ago....

regards
d.

P.S. if someone would like me to make a working unit for him/her please, e-mail me.
Wach out the T1 on module, (corner transistor) i missed that one and it is eached for US pinning, but i soldered it in reversed.
