Hi Danny

if you want to make a coil 250mm you will probably have to change some of the components as that machine was designed for a large coil not a small coil if you make a small coil with the same resistance your inductance will go way up and will hinder the performance of the machine I have not build the Delta pulse so I can't really help you there.

hello danny 475, dp is deeper md operating at 100-120hz to penetrate the grnd deeper for big targets. if you make small coil for small targets then adjust the operating frequency to higher frequency for more sensitive to small targets. maybe it's beter to make two dp for small targets try the xr71 schematic the pcb is same to dp pcb.

regards, ram,

Only adjusting the frequency by it's self will not do you must adjust the pulse delay and to do that you will have to replace some components.

Danny you were told how to convert a big coil to a smaller coil however the result will not be good you have to know at what delay the coil will be running at to be able to make a coil that will be suitable also you need to know what you are going to be looking for a machine with a delay of 8ms will be good for nugget hunting one that is at 50ms will be good for coin hunting and one that  175ms will do great for very large objects a great depth using a large coil so don't come telling us that you know that you have to adjust the frequency cose that will not do in the case of making a small coil it would do if you were to make a slightly smaller or bigger coil.

hi danny
a coil 25 cm in diameter you can not find nothing. coil 42 cm in diameter, this device is the ideal. I've done my devices using this coil. One euro shooting distance is 65 cm in full the net.
