hi Xavier .........
i made a new coil with ( 30 turn * 0.6mm dimeter * 42cm ) the Resistance 2.9 ohm......
coin in diameter 1.5cm detected in 22cm .
it's so poor with Aluminum and good with iron . i will try to reduces the turns to 27 turn

OK just remember to leave a nice gap in the shield,  also get the thinest shielding material that you can get your hands on.

I shielded the coil with aluminum foil... but the results were bad ...  Undecided

Sorry I took so long to answer your post. My DBP2010 had a coil diameter of 300mm 24 turns and 0.8mm wire (the detector was modified though) what is the size of your coil?

I am looking for the schematic and P.C.B. layout for the SNIFFER XR71p pulse detector
the POWERSCAN 2PRO pulse detector on EBAY is using this layout. There is a
DISCRIMINATION MODULE available on EBAY for the DELTA PULSE and there
manual only shows PCB hookup for DELTA PULSE/SNIFFER XR71 and not XR71p
P.C.B. layout. The company so far has only supplied me the XR71 version.
