I built delta pulse, with my own designed schematic and PCB. its PCB was designed with a lot of attention to noise and quality. it is two layer metalized board with ground shielding. I used high quality components because I hoped I can get even better results with this method.

Result : it doesn't work!.

when you power the circuit ON, the speaker makes noise and a VU_meter acts and goes to end. it works like you have a metal near the coil, but without metal. no action when you change the potentiometers. I adjusted the frequency to 120Hz. I put a lot of time for this circuit. Unfortunately, I'm little disappointing now. it consumes the current between 90-100mA.

its photo is here. although it doesn't have a good quality, but you can consider all over the circuit.

if the Delta Pulse has a correct designing, its PCB should have some differences with the schematic which is posted here. because I designed the new PCB exactly based on the last provided schematic in this forum.

No missing part, you can consider designed schematic in Protel. all parts are included based on the new schematic.
I've attached that schematic here.

another photo attached also.

your schematic is wrong Wise try to compare with the original delta pulse schematic posted here. in your schematic you use 12volts in the circuit. 12 volts is in the mosfet only. Wise

No ram, the +12V and +E are same connections. -E and -12V are not same. D5A in original schematic and U1A in my schematic produces GND. if you consider the original schematic, +12V and +E are same (see connection above C7 and C8 in the original schematic). I used only one label in my schematic which is +12V.

I checked your method. nothing changed. speaker sounds continuously and meter acts and goes to end. Cry
if anyone could construct the Dela Pulse successfully, please help me here.
as I mentioned before, it seems to me that the Forum's PCB has some differences with the Forum's schematic. but I'm not sure.  Sad

please put some critical voltages here, like the mosfet gate voltage, mosfet drain voltage and any other voltages that you think may help. in the mosfet gate, I could read the AC voltage (which is contains 120Hz frequency) of only 0.5V and the Dc Voltage is near 5V.

it seems it is OFF, but why???. do you see any mistake in schematic? No no!

I have the some problem montioned by HESAMAVR, the speaker sounds continuously, when i would like to tourn trechhold the sound return (like canari).
We are in a bad situation, we are making the device and we could'nt repair it.
please to help us by preparing a "checking manual" that indicate the most checking points (voltage, intensity....)

hi tuxnor Welcome
These are photos
Is a bit ugly
I have the same problem for apocalypto and hesamavr
im use variable transistor place the normal resistor
Copper layer on bord is not cause a problem
I use  ne556n places ua556 at pin 12 for this ic i have low voltage 22mv
so...Huh?
Can you put pictures A singal on coil, and some of the points or any idea Pray
I have spent time in building this thing and now does not work Undecided
Any help you will be important to me
I'm waiting your replay have good day

What ever happened to the person that designed the Hammerhead PI metal detector? Does he still have his own site?
