Hi Ram

My apologies I did not read the question properly. I was thinking about it last night in bed and realized that I had made a big mistake I worked out the consumption rather than the power output  any how I want to correct that ridiculous answer. I believe the power output to be 50 watt and not 2.4 like I originally told you.

All the best Xavier

Ram the power is calculated on the coil not on the 12v (battery) so if you get 250v on the coil and a power consumption in Amps of 0.2A then you have 250 X 0.2 = 50 Watt for the power output. I hope that I reapplied correctly this time  Smiley
