Thank you, Mudflap!

A hot iron and bright traces make all the difference when soldering.  It took me a few hours to populate the board, but it's one of my favorite parts of electronic projects.

Thanks, Eugene.

I've built two Pulse-1s and a Pulse-2 so far and have found them to be very stable (not a lot of re-adjusting in the field) and consistent (able to find American pennies at about 10 inches).  It appears to have a maximum range of about 3 feet in air with very large objects.

I've only done some back yard testing, so far, so I don't have any exciting finds to tell you about yet.  But, I am confident that this is a great basic machine that will eventually have some great stories.

I investigated Gary's machine about a year ago.

Total cost for the kit was something like $70.00.  More now, I'm sure.

I came " close to ordering one but someone gave me a Garrett Sea Hunter to play with.

I communicated with Gary a few times Via E Mail and he is a most up right person.

This guy stands up for his product and would bend over backwards to assist you in making it work.I've even seen him have folks send in there Botched assemblies and he got them working.

Yep, Cool Platform with lots of wiggle room to play and experiment with.

Add a Spiral Coil and it could be a formidable machine to work with on gold.
