This i have to say is a good detector for starters.
easy to build and pcb can be buyed with preprogrammed chip
its mighty sensitive and
deep eaven with 4" coil
25-30 cm on coins with 9"" coil
1.2 m  40cmx40cm square coil handtool

i had my goldpic 3 for 4-5 years ..testing all my mono coils on it
i say it take pretty much from me ,,never had a error on it,,has always worked since i build it.

this one is my first gary pulse pi ..built 1,5 of them pulse 1 and now pulse 2

I have this metal detector schematic diagram
but I havent this chip software(program)
and icant buy preprogramed chip for my project
do u have this chip program(.hex or .asm file)
if u do have pls send me

No there is no releseses of a hex file from trevor Hill
only if you do basic programming and can do it self
a lot of people around have been asking for that file
i have a pcb for goldpic  and a programmed chip for sale ,if you dont have paypal
since the only payment trevor accept is paypal...guess that make limit for some to buy that kit..
just bought another kit from trevor..because i like it, and IT IS a good detector
start with stuarts pi ..but it use a pic16f84
