Eugene;

That was 473 and that is not 47 uHy, it is 47 with 3 zeros, or 47000 and that is 47milliHenrys (47,000uHy.) 47uHy is too small  for anything lower than 160 meter Ham radio.

This system was used, briefly, in Canada, in the 70's and early 80's and no one knows it anymore.

1. Do not know, it would be small, anywhere but the pulse/coil, which may be quite high, but very brief.

2. A UA709 is a very old type of RF Op Amp and you might replace it with an LM741 or a TL081 or a TL071, Bear in mind, I am not looking at the schematic, while I write this. But, there is no need for an OP Amp that has RF capability, because all the frequencies, in the machine, are audio range, it just needs a high 'slew rate.' Bear in mind there are several types of IC package, and the 709 was often in a round can.... do not use a round can, use the 8 pin DIP type.

3. What is "nucleus genus?" Can you try a different translation, because something got lost in that one.
Do you mean 'core material' Huh??? If so, I do not have a clue.... ask Eugene.

4. Ask Eugene.

I tried....  Shocked

That's a triple gang switch where a, b and c all get stitched together. I haven't seen the schematic but it is probably a TPDT switch.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Eugene is away... in the field, so-to-speak, but he is on the forum occasionally... it iis not intentional, he is not ignoring you.  Shocked

I will have to dig into me cache on the hard drive, to find the schematic... so i will try to answer, later.

LATER:
I have looked and did a search but can not find it and I was looking at it last week.... I have GoldPIC 3 Pulse but not Gold pulse and they are not the same. Sorry.

I am sorry, I am not sure what you are asking.... we have a language problem, here. I am not sure if you are asking how much amperage, what does it do, or what.... also, I can not find the schematic, that I DID have, and looked at when you asked about the chips and pins..... which I think I can answer, now. Stuff has been disappearing off my hard drive and I suspect my anti-virus is doing it.

The current level is low,  it would have to be measured, to know how low, and I can not say what it does, without a schematic.

The question about why some pins went to pins different than some of the other, same type chip, is: the four chips are dual one-shot, for timing the pulse(s,) some only use one of the two timers, in the chip, others use both timers. Personally I do not like those as one-shots, I prefer a plain old CD4001.

Do you have another language that might be better than your English? French, Spanish, German, Hollands, Afrikaans, Huh??? Pitsin? Inuktitut?

I am straining, here! Help me out.
