TEST REPORT OF THE FISHER CZ20

BY ALAN HASSELL? copyright 30/1/1995

My experience on the use of Fishersa Cs-20 with the coil 8dyuymov. Really great device, I believe that substantially better Excalibur. The only thing that I had to refine it to make another post, because when nosheniibloka on a belt to hold the bar just uncomfortable. By its coil (mono 8 inches), I made two covers the upper and lower (oekateli) as a result skoost swings in water significantly increased, the performance of extraction rings - too.

Nikos, it's still there. To download them all you have to do is use the icon at the left of the file name. Or, you can download the image by right clicking on the image and Save Image As to your hard drive.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

I always use a 10" coil or bigger you get better depth and do not lose anything small either anyone using an 8" coil are not only losing depth they are also losing targets.  As regards the Excalibur being better than a PI your day dreaming and have not tested your exaggerated Sovereign up against a good PI. If you did you would be embarrassed by making such statements as you have.  I know for a fact too having done a test report on the CZ 20 myself that its depth is almost as good as a PI.  The Excalibur has no magic in it only a fancy name that some people think it has magical properties which is nonsense. The Excalibur also has no less than 14 seals each one a potential "LEAKER" repairs on the Excalibur are not cheap either.
A Submarine has a crew to repair leaks while submerged the Excalibur has no midget sailors to fix any problems.
Fisher have a unique housing in so much as it is double protected in a way, the first watertight compartment is for batteries the second is for the actual circuit itself. You ought to try a 10" coil as most users of these machines use.  Then and only then will you get a better recovery rate.  I have put pictures of my finds on here to back up my words. I would love to see you out do me if you think your technique is better than mine.   There you go you have a challenge try to beat 21 rings in one day.  Then you will have something to shout about.  Grin

The New improoved Goldscan IV is now a Great new project to consider . It will detect small gold better than any PI projects posted on this forum so far . The through hole PCB boards are available but I am trying to find the sprint or protel layout file . I will post more as I am researching .

Hello Paolo,i give you some tips
First  at ALL
disconnect the fet IRF 740
Then  you must check;

1)voltages +5,-5V, 12V
2) output  of the 555.... the Frequency of PPS
3) width of the pulse PPS
when you have the pulse and width  conform ok
4) check the output  timing of the 4538'S (see  my schematic  you have the test point !!!)

Then you can connect the fet  740

and see the signal output of first amp
-all the preset  adjust to zero volt  see the schematic it is write on it....
you must adjust  step per step  and all  will work fine
luck Alexis.
