Except, they don't cache the zip files that he is looking for. I also checked the Wayback machine and it does not archive zips either.

Geotech should be back soon according to Carl.

Rip

Hello Everyone , This website "Thunting.com" has sure improoved , with a few great features that are available like live chat . I remember years ago , this site was the former Geotech , before v-bulletin format. Now back to the topic !!! The hammerhead is a great project that is , or was being improoved on the Geotech forum . I will research what PCB layout formats are available and if the improoved circuits have been completed . Also , someone on one of the forums was interested in purchasing completed "Soldered and tested" PCB boards of the Hammerhead . Since I only work less than 6 months a year , I might be interested in building/completing/with final testing !!, a dozen or two "Hammerhead boards" at a time . But it would be for a trade , not for money . I am searching for a Minelab Relic Hawk IN FAIR CONDITION , AND also an older original  "VLF Tesoro Lobo" not the New Tesoro Lobo-Trac . I currently live in the Las Vegas / Summerlin area ...........SO , Next year late spring,  I will have plenty of time. Anyway when Geotech is back on again , I will check the Hammerhead postings , and then check prices on the latest circuit boards and jameco component prices. Doing this barter will help me complete my goals , that is if someone wants to trade for multiple tested working hammerhead boards next year ........................Regards..........Eugene52......amtech2005@yahoo.com

Hey Eugene,

You are right about this site! Christian has done a great job of getting it updated. I think it is one of the best formats I have seen for forums and general info. And, it is nice not to have to tip-toe around posting links to products or other boards.

I thought I had the Gerber files for the Hammer Head but I seem to be able to find everything but them on my drive.

Good to see you here.

Hope all have a Great New Year,
Rip

Hello Outback , UWLocater and everyone . I have several hundred megabytes of geotech threads saved but it is only the tip of the ice-berg !!!! I am searching now for any Hammerhead files. I do need to find out though on this THUNTING Forum what the schematic rules are , also what type of schematic file formats can be posted here . What would be nice is to have the latest Hammerhead design , the one with the auto-tracking circuit , and to have it on gerber or sprint-layout 4.0........I will try to visit this forum more often . ................... I wish everyone on this T.hunting Forum a very Happy,Healthy and Prosperous New Year 2009 !!!!!..................Regards.............Eugene52

And that is a good thing from my perspective. I should have specified "relevant" links. I am sure you know that some forums now ban any link to "competing" forums and to commercial sites that are not banner advertisers on their board. Makes it hard to discuss new products that are helpful to the t-hunting community.

Thanks to you and Christian for keeping it going,
Rip
