Hello Eugene,

what do you think would be the max depth when using the Hammerhead REV 2.0 with a 30 x 30 cm frame like coil?

I would like to sue a Hammerhead on a ROV.

Regards,

Christian

Hello Everyone , as you know the Hammerhead is a Great P.I. costing hundreds or even thousands less than some P.I. Metal Detectors on the market today . Depending on the size of the search coil and the size of the buried object , it can easily detect beyond 5 feet "OVER 1.5 Meters" . Here is a link to a Geotech page that is very informative, please keep in mind that the Hammerhead P.I. project is almost always being improoved , and soon a  usb / micro-processor add-on will be available . Hammerhead is a Great Machine and is still being improoved , enough said , the link at our partner site the Geotech Forum is

Hi everybody, thanks to Eugene for the zip gerber files of HHc1. I am just wondering which version is better ? HHc or HHd? Is it possible someone to share the gerbers for HHd and their diagrams?  Smiley Smiley

Hello , REV. D is better . It has low battery indicator , your choice of mono or separate serch coils and non vco audio . Due to Size limitation of 500 kb . Here is the first rev. D pdf files , and one more on the next post...........And special thanks must be given to the Geotech Forum for these files. It is a Great machine , but you should know they are getting ready for a USB powered Micro-processor "add on" designed special just for the "Hammerhead" , So please check the Geotech Forum to keep up to date !!!.....................Eugene

Has anyone ever added a ground balance feature to the Hammerhead PI design?  I hunt in some very hot soil and it is absolutely necessary on my VLF machines.
