Lets get something straight, there are NO mods, it's the same machine, only a single board instead of two.

The detector works well, I used a coil of 500mm x 500mm also a coils of 1m x 1m but I was not interested in the large coils so I changed some of the components and used a coil of 300mm in diameter.
The documents that I posted are with the original components and the number attached to the components on my board are the same as on the original schematic. I can also tell you that the coil has to be 250µH and a good wire gauge is 0.8mm in diameter but you can use a wire up to 1mm in diameter.
If you need help with this detector you can ask me and I'll be happy to assist you.
