Hi Nickel_n

Board sizes are 105mm x 173mm so about the same size as the original. I did keep component placement the same as per original and just removed the piggy back board that was on it. I think that with a double sided board you could make it quite a bit smaller.

It's so big because it's a single sided board I'm sure that I could make it a lot smaller if I did it double sided, I was thinking about it last night and there actually quite a bit that one could do to that detector. If you are interested in building it let me know.

I'm still using DesignSpark from RS components because it's free fully functional with no limitations and it get's updated all the time plus they have a huge components data base.
