He is trying to figure out what is wrong, I am testing voltages,. etc  The thing is that the unit starts  with sample 1 and sample 2 on screen. Sample 2 reads ok, but not sample 1. I´l see where this goes , at least he is very responsive...

New to the Forum but not to Metal Detecting. I bought the DBP2010 from Sinko just for Testing and to see if I can lower the delay time. I got my PCB with the 27.5cm coil from him within a week or so without any problems. In fact I have been emailing him asking questions about the DBP2010 and he always responded. What he never revealed is who modified the original if he did or someone else. I realize that the original was proposed by someone by the name of Cornelius on this Forum but other than that he sort of skipped the subject. Here is his email  sinko1@abv.bg

Regards

Hector

DBP2010 was modified to SNIFFER XR7 and then later was moded to DELTA PULSE/ SNIFFER XR71 schematic.
so there NO a deep sense to remake DPB2010 to something new you may be hope on.

NE555 What I was wondering is if Crazy-Tech took the original DBP2010 and he modified the unit himself. I knew that Cornelius had submitted the original back about 8 years ago in this Forum. I also knew that the Sniffer XR-71 is a modification of the single board Czech design. However, the DBP2010 I got from Crazy Tech is different from the single board Czech design, Sniffer or the Delta Pulse. I have both the Sniffer and the Delta Pulse schematics from the Geotech forum. I just finished building the SM Pro (works great with a TDI Mono Coil) and I am also building the Chance PI from Silverdog in the UK. I want a detector with sub 10uS delay and GB so I can use it in the Gold Fields here in California.

those bulgarians do their gesheft... gesheftmakhers... i do not see them in on-line mode neverwhere... if i do DP i am here and do suggest...
why you are so blind i do not know...  try read a book of german author and find where you can decrease the delay and the PILSE STROBE WIDTH.
also i can suggest to read INSIDE THE METAL DETECTOR copy and Carl Moreland article on HAMMERHEAD PI detector.
that will give you a clue...
