Look for some used Crutches   At the Used stores.    Bit of PVC between them and the Coil works good.

We have Thrift shops here .  If you hit them once in while you will come across one some times or two.    If you just walk in the door and ask the Oner they will know if they have one.  Turn the Handle  To the other side and they Rock.

RG-TV cabe will work.   On a PI you can get away with Twisted Speaker Wire.  Connector?   Your Choice.

90% DIY

monopod, 90degree pipe connector, plastic pipe, foamgrip, endcap
the armcup can be bended from a strip of 2mm aluminium
the coil mount can be cut and drilled from a 20*20mm square rod from pom or abs
i think all was under 50€

instead of a carbon fibre monopod you can take a alu/magnesium type and replace the lower rod with a one from gfk pipe
