Hi,

well Miner 4 would cost EUR 700+ for that money one can make DBP2010 for deep seeking and buy say Garrett ACE 150 for casual coin shooting. Though none of both machines can be quite compared with Miner4, both would cover both ends better than Miner4 alone.

regards,
d.

Yes, DBP2010 is best machine so far for deep targets, and deep enought for my personal flavour (or too deep), however since i have been chalanged by some money on the table, i intend to recalcuate the pulse generator to be powered with 24V (IGBT, supressor diodes, opticaly decoupled from logic, dumping resistor added) and up to some 40A of current to drive even larger coils. I hope it would go even deeper, i'll let you know if any success.

d.

Electro_fuzzy,

wisit my internet page to read the description of Miner4, and if you still realy like it you can buy mine for some EUR 500 + p&p, it will came chipper than building it. You have been warened.

regards,
d.

Hi DK

I have a VLF and will have soon the DBP2010 I'm busy building it but still looking for parts as they are hard to get here. Do let us know the result with the mod that you are doing also tell me did you test it under water?(DBP2010)

What parts do you lack? We do have a postal system in Australia, you know. It's not all outback and bouncing kangaroos, mate. And my parts bin overflows with goodies.
