Another thing that you should be careful of are clips used to assemble the tables, you can't see them but if you look under the table/desk you will notice them usually on the sides and corners. Got caught out like that on a few occasions.

Hi Garemia,
While your board may look Spartan, it is still innovative. While you are working on getting your circuits to work, think of what you want your finished detector to look like and draw up a few sketches. This will help you later in redesigning your proto board.
