Can anyone tell me the mods required to the chance PI board.  I just got a kit from Silverdog but it came with no instructions and some missing bits.   I found a pdf file online that shows the diagrams and board layouts and parts overlay.
There was no 1.5K resistor in my kit and instead there was a 830 ohm Is this supposed to be R9? instead of the 1.5k?  Undecided
Also there was no KN505 or the 2 IRF9640's.   Those I can purchase locally anyway but the KN505?Huh?   Can even find it listed anywhere.  :Smiley I did find somewhere that one person used a 2N7000 Is that ok? I can get that one locally  Smiley

Is the resistor the only mod needed for the newer firmware?  Silverdogs site is in maintenance mode here and it says he is on holidays now so I come here for info.  I'm really happy with the quality of the kit and I'm not worried about the missing bits I just want to finish this unit soon while my interest is there.

Thanks guys!

I've ordered three kits from the man and never had a problem.

You need to contact him and he will make it right if it was wrong.

All the info you would ever need is on GeoTech.

I see his site is on hold until he gets back.

I think the info you need is in PDF form there as well.
