Grin But I am in good spirits and I am anxious to get on with my projects.

golddustcarl

I really wish to see photo of working device based on this interesting new idea.

I seems like even author of this project didn't really build it. Just curious - no insult please.

I wish to test it, but it is hard to decide to be guinea pig of someone unproven idea.

Can someone (author in first line) prove that that this idea is able to work in real world?

Thanks.

lol.... Whats wrong with just building it from the schematic, it would seem to me that would be the best way to learn the circuit and to find out if it works or not, isn't that the whole idea behind a new idea???... lol... jus pokin a bit of fun atcha.... nothin worng with being a guinea pig as long as your the one in control of the guinea pig, right!!!... Wink

I  am that author, and I  agree it has been a long time since I  posted this. But great things do take a bit. A 1 control mostly digital detector is in the works. It incorporates all of the the features I talked about in the post plus a few more. This model will change the way we look at detectors. I and a partner are close. Please be patient. Not blowing smoke.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

Great. Thanks Dusty Carl.

Thread was dead for long time and I only wish to provoke you, to actualize, if your PI idea is dead too.

Could be that "DIY µC PI", listed in your profile, is those "mostly digital" version of your idea, you are talking about in above answer?

Wish you (and your partner) full success with this interesting project.

Some remark from time to time on development would be welcome to thread (along with public) stay tuned.

@geoscash1

"nothin worng with being a guinea pig as long as your the one in control of the guinea pig, right!!!

Nothing wrong of course. But i wish to know that there are not too much pig-gy competitors first.  Wink

In todays life, we are all in a big hurry to get somewhere or do something, just a product of todays society. There is an old saying, "Good things come to those who are patient"...

A lot of hard work, a lot of hours behind a computer screen and a scope, writing code or software, testing, comparing and debugging till the cows come home unfortunately takes time and a lot of it.

Patience my friend, Dusty Carl has dedicated more time than you know on this very project (well over 2 yrs now)... It is coming, it is close to fruition...  Pray
