hi gents before i went away i made a new coil for my surf pi you have all probably seen the posts on the chance coil i just thought i would share with you what i have found with my coil on testing the advise and help from chet and baum 7154 was exceptional i have gained 30 cm on a small piece of foil and on a $1 coin 80 cm so iwas pretty happy as i am a new be to all this i am hoping to do a field test next week hope this is some help to some one kindest regards  kellogs.

are you sure on what you write
80cm on one 1$ coin :Smiley  sure?
thats against all i have seen on any  coil Diameter / depth detection Chart

can you Show a Video or some Pictures?

Yes 31-1/2 inches does sound odd on a $1.00 coin with that size coil. I get only 18 inches (45.7 cm) max on a 9 x 10 coil with a US silver dollar. However, the TV set comes in at twice that (3 feet (91.44 cm)) Smiley.

Yeah, Although PI NEVER Air Test Well, On A UK pound Coin the Maximum I can Get is 19 1/2 inches OR 495mm, but the Batteries were not fully charged,

 I have a Morgan Silver Dollar I have not Yet Tested

Yeah and it is as perfect as you would expect after A Month of being made, Its Just Beautiful,

It is An 1881 and it has the "S" Mint Mark,    it weighs 0.863ozt.   I have not Cleaned it.
