| friend,s.tirei of 3 turns of wire, and was with: 2.4 ohm. measure coil original:(1x1m) and has: 2.3 ohm. the original coil, (40x20cm) is: 2.2 ohm. I further modified nada.o do you think? 0.2 ohm will not reduce, + 5 cm depth of detection?

Hello , actually it should increase your depth by several inches . Ohms law states the lower the resistance the higher the current when the voltage applied is the same . Higher current to the coil means more depth , unless the wire hits a saturation point for its wire gauge properties .
You will be pretty close to the maximum magnetic field because the coil was designed for 2.2 ohm "factory Specs" ..... You should always check your coil Inductance , because this can effect your coils performance also .
Best Regards..............Eugene
