Go Up Go Down

Hi everyone I'm new here and would like to build a good PI detector for gold fossicking
I have good soldering skills and some electronics knowledge.
I have been searching this site and read alot of good information but still unsure which project to try.
As I don't have alot of experiance with PCB programs I'm looking for a project with schematics, PCB artwork and any other info required to build and tune the detector.
Also if posible a detector that can use premade DD or monoloop coils eg. coiltek
Thanks,
AJ

Welcome again!

Contact Silverdog and see if he has any more Surf PI kits left.

You can use factory made coils with it and if the Sample Delay is short enough it will do Gold.

I seen he put one together that can see a US Nickel at a decent depth.

That would find Gold.

 Cool

Silverdog sells them for as little as 8.00 pounds.

Heck, Sure saves a ton of work and time.

With the right Coil , the Surf is quite sensitive.   One report on another forum shows 15" on a US Nickel.   That's pretty dang good.
