Not a bad idea,  I will also look at putting it in the download area but I will only do it once I have updated the hex file.  Got the old prototype pin pointer out and on the bench, reprogrammed the pic but I must get more coaxial cable (used it on another pin  pointer) may get to do that tomorrow. Note that there is a layer of insulation tape before putting on the wire on the ferrite rod.

Hi 6666

I will be posting a new hex file for it as soon as I get the time to do it. Very busy on a new digital PI detector at the moment.

Nice design Xavier. I noticed in the C file that an include file was not in the download. ( internals.c )

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

Hi Golddustcarl

Like I said in a previous post I'm going to have to rewrite the c code, I don't know what I did with the original one. I might even start to play with it today,  got the proto board out, made a new coil, so now all that I need to do is get some coaxial cable for it.

 Smiley looking good Bernte one

I'm busy rewriting the code for it, I will post it as soon as I'm satisfied that it's going to work like it should.

Xavier,
Don't feel rushed to do it. It's not a life or death situation. Remember that you are doing this out of the kindness of your heart. Take your time. "Right has might and being wrong is just dead wrong" Great
