I put everything arrived here after the implementation of the project in accordance with the original project and----- did not work ----- studying each part separately, many errors were discovered after the project was to compare old projects.
After searching for a similar project completely , and found more of his project is similar to the author of one of the most similar in design and likeness in all parts.    I re-design pcb to the project according to this {photo 1,2} ,After making minor mistakes discovered resultS - and the****** new pcb worked ******get a few cm .Flat Iron 10x10 cm  at 25cm,Must reach in the best situation to 65cm{test by coil 25cm} . may result from mistakes in Transmission power{All its factors} I not discovered , observed when the detection of iron, copper  equal, and clear Sound .

best time

Hi Japanese

It would be nice to use a different Op_Amp to the lm358 as it is discontinued, expensive and hard to find.

All the best
Xavier

There isnt alot of people with more experience having a MD in their hands than I have, but as far as electronics and how it works? I'm not only clueless, but I dont care as long as mine works. I think the lack of comments you mentiioned is others who like me, just enjoy the hobby in the field and dont know what they are even looking at in a schematic. But I'm anxious to see how it works when its completed. And I'll give you an Attaboy! when that time comes if it works. I have to say that a discriminating PI detector would make a great new toy for me if it ever goes into production  Kiss my excalibur 2 will become a dust collector. Actually it already is since I bought a new F2, I'm having a blast with that thing!  An advance in detectors might push this old MDist into buying a new advanced detector, but I doubt it will be another minelab, if I'm going to spend a grand it will be a fisher F75, or a T2  at this point. So get with the program Japanese and get that thing working and in production so I dont go off the deep end this winter and buy one of those 2 first lmao  Grin

Discriminating PI no but there are some that will tell you if the metal is ferrous or not and in my opinion that's all that one needs. I'll dig even if it is ferrous just want to know if it's ferrous or not.

Do not waste your time and that with this project. Pictures detectors and schemes have nothing to do with each other... The person who posted this topic on Geotech is a fraud.
