pcb is not important, schematic is the very important in building circuits. we can design our own pcb from schematic.

MZ6466, has this circuit been built and verified?

Also, what is the specification for the coil? Sheet 1 just shows a coil without a spec. The impedance or number of windings with the wire gauge or diameter of the wire would be helpful.

You need a formula for calculating and air core, single layer coil. Fortunately, there is such a thing here:

300mh is 300,000uh. The rest is up to you based on coil diameter and wire size. Have fun experimenting.

After taking a look at the pcbs they dont look anything like my Pulse Star 2 because my pcbs are modular in other words they can be pulled out like any board on a pc for easy replacement. Also sections of my one are covered in Pitch or some kind of resin hiding the chips or eproms in order to protect the design and to stop anyone copying the circuits.  I suspect that the ID NUMBER OF that chip has been erased too just to make things more difficult for anyone to copy.  Eric Foster did something similar with his original Goldscan 1 manufacturers do things like this because no sooner do they come out with something good someone attempts to copy it.
As what happened with the Goldscan 2 when Barry Johnson was taken a faulty unit to be repaired.  That circuit ended up at Minelab and was used to create the 2000 series.  They (minelab) even used the same connectors that Foster had used in the original Goldscan 1 so it was a dead give away.  Nothings sacred when it comes to metal detectors and someone will always try to make themselves something similar instead of buying the genuine product and getting the after sales service that goes with it. But thats life.

the reason why, commercially built good metal detectors are over priced w/c mere people have knowledge in electronics can easily build same 1/4 the cost of commercially built. but someday a wiz will post here all the schematics of those commercially built.
