  T2 is 80-200usec  start from S1 end.
This picture was the only explanation for using the principle of separation P.i. with mono coil.Discrimination has no connection with SBG -PI  scheme.

  Уважаеми Mikebg !

Sascho, please show how seems the output of preamp with separate induction balanced TX and RX coils because WM6 keeps to insist that the MONOCOIL is useful and delivers enough depth. I don't believe that he have tested a PI with IB coils, because he can't draw the decay curve. Wink
Hi mike. I think that says a good WM6: if discrimination was not 100% at detecting full depth, then the mono coil has many advantages compared to the IB design. I've tested a PI with IB coils (to the image below) and tests in the air are "ideal": detected only nonferrous, sensitive to small objects...But the real field is poorly usable detector: unstable operation, masking of gold when in the vicinity of iron... fff is to explain why not show us the output of preamp with separate induction balanced TX and RX coils. I am sorry, because it will be for us SBG-PI remain just an ordinary PI with higher consumption.

Yes, I agree, you're correct. Then make machine translation of Bulgarian text above. Wink

Dear Mikebg!
This is a scheme for making a stable operating PI detector with an original way for the formation of the control signals. Few people would put such a scheme on the Internet without the benefit of that. Discrimination in this type of equipment is the point at which ends hobby and started making serial. And there it comes to money. That is why I prefer not to discuss this aspect of the topic although I have a very good idea.

My comment:

Thank you, Sasho, anyway, to share with us your ideas and wish you great success in field of (discriminative) marketing.

Now, as seems, the only Bulgarian PI schematic in public domain with working discrimination remain this one from great designer Georgi Zhelev:

WM6, do you mean that Pulsediscriminator PD3200 not discriminates? Cheesy
NOTE: The last noncommercialized circuit diagram of PD3200, posted by me in geotech1, has separate TX and RX loops. Tongue

PD3200,

PD3200 was originally Bulgarian (Kreshimir?) design?

Despite of all, this is only "so called discrimination" nothing real.

WM6, I don't  know the role of Kreshimir. I live in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. In this town was established project Pulsediscriminator PD3200, the aim of which was to produce very cheap kit for amateur builders. I was not involved in this project and I even not have this kit because I can not make changes (it is made in SMT). This project was commercialized in 2007. At  2 June 2011 I published the latest circuit diagram before commercialization.

The designers of PD3200 now create radars. See their names:

Due very little demand on MD here (detecting is practically prohibited for mostly protected historical area) there are no interest in MD design between electronic proffesionals. We are only very active in field of human deminning.

I am involved in this solely due my electronic hobby interests nad MD allow to do recreation in paralel with my MD DIY hobby.

Except me, there are maybe one or two DIY MD hobbist on regular basis here. Here is big problem to donate DIY MD someone, let alone to sell something.

Hi mikebg. I live in eastern Serbia, It is on the border with Bulgaria and Romania. So I understand the Bulgarian and Romanian language without an interpreter. English language difficult to translate, and with the help of translators (it is noted that). It is not clear to me why ask me to translate Bulgarian to English, you would translate much better (did not)Huh? Sascho is a smart man, i wish him much success in marketing ...Your countryman is a good example of good marketing - NEXUS metal detector...My countryman Orbit (Geotech forum) is a good example of bad marketing.

Dr. Jare, I don't know why Sascho posted me Bulgarian text in the forum. Everybody can translate it in own native language. If there was something confidential, he should post me private mesage or email. :Smiley

WM6, do you know more technical data for Italian metal detectors of CEIA for demining? I need instruction manual and service manual for MIL-D1/DS.
