Hey guys, i've been working on this, and I need some help from you. I don't find these integrated circuits OC 1,6 - 5552  IC 5 - 7411 I've been in a store and I didnt find them, and the guy that worked there says that he don't know them, they have any other name? Theres something missing in the name? A number? Help guys I need this to finish the project. I've noticed some holes in the circuit that don't are in use what are them for? Im not talking about the border holes for the box. And one more thing I don't know where to find the place to put the resistor number 30 -> 1,5K and the number 35 ->100K they aren't in the component layout p.c.b draw. Can you tell me where they have to be placed?

Thanks a lot guys.

See ya. xD Smiley

What schematic are you working with.

The nomenclatures originated in the UK.

Your looking for:

LM555  or sub   7555

LM741

Ok men, I will look for the LM555, I will have to find the 7091 - IC4, that will be LM709 Huh?

Thanks dude.

And can you help finding the resistor 30 and 35 in the p.c.b layout?

Bye. Thanks a lot.

Yep!  the LM709 is a bit hard to find.   If you can't find one let me know.

 Grin

R-30 can be found as the top of schematic between Head phones and switch 2a and 2b.

R-35 can be found 4 componites left of IC 3 on board.

Let me know how you do.

Are you going to do like Cornelius does and replace the transformer with a second 9v battery?

Ok, thanks, yes, I will replace the transformer, I don't have one and Im not planing to do one xD Its more simple to use a 9v battery, and we get the same effect didn't we?

Thanks men. I appreciate your help.

Hello guys, I've found some IC's xD but I have some questions, the IC3 -> MC14011CP1 they say that its crucial to be a type "A" but I don't know what is that type that I've buyed xD the one that I have is the ->HEF4011BP, and it says some more things above that ->L8A5R8 05; UnG08176. LOL
I couldn't find the transistor Tr1 -> BC2141 the men in the store said that BC560 its equivalent, its that true? And I can't find the Tr6-> E1761 there's some equivalent?
I can't find the IC4 -> 7091 there's something equivalent?
And I can't find the switch 4.7 lin. pot. with d.p. switch - 1VR2/S1 Can I use something else? The girl in the store said that she never saw any switcher above 100K xD
 Cheesy This is almost done.
Thanks a lot. See ya.

The transistors and the few IC's should not be hard to substitute . The 4.7 ohm linear potentiometer is not correct , VR2 is Labeled 10 k ohm on the schematic ? The original schematic had 2 errors that were corrected and posted later than the published article . I can not find the correction  . Maybe Homefire remembers this or maybe Cornelius does . This PI is not a Deep-Seeker .

Here are 2 replacements that can be verified or not  Shocked :

Hello JK and Everyone . The second attachment compressed was 509 kbs too big too post here . Anyway you do have some great replacements availailable for the LM709.

When they fix the technical issues on this forum we will be able to download attachments again like we used to one year ago .

The second pdf data sheet you can not see  Shocked  , is a TLE2021a

Sorry for any inconvenience of the invisible attachments   :Smiley

I will work on a "No more Technical Attachments Allowed" to the symbol below .
