Hi,
Wasn't too sure where to put this.
It's a great free bit of software for earth resistivity logging!

Thats a good question...  I would like to know that, too.
Lets say I want a pretty Greyscale Image of Earth resistivity, only 100 x 100 pixels...
now, do i need to measure resistivity 10,000 times ? Better build a Robot for that.

Hi,
Obviously you are going to need an "Earth resistivity logger" to measure the area you are interested in.
The different values logged are used by the software to build up a "picture" of that area showing any anomolies in the soil.
Widely used by Archeologists.
I believe Cornelius has posted a link to a unit that can be constructed.

Paul I have a nice schematic of a Resistivity Meter but sorry to say that the schematic of the logger is not ( Yet ) available . I am hoping to get a hold of the logger one of these days . By the way ,  the Meter is from Robert Beck .  Available through EPE ,   Regards  Cornelius

Hi Cornelius!
Thanks for that, unbelievably I have found the copy of EPE with the resistivity data logger among my pile of old electronics mags!
If you want a copy I can probably get it scanned and send to you.

Best regards

Paul
