 Hello
Hello Iam new here and building the Mark Stuart2 micro PI.
Anybody had any luck with this and porting the 'Pauls software'
from a 16C84 to an accessible pic like a 16f84a or a more modern 16f628a?
Thanks in advance
John

A link to your project's web site would be more than helpful. It might actually get you an answer.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Well that makes the answer simple. The code is transportable for all the functions used by the project within the PIC. Besides, the chip is flash based and can be erased if it works kind of funky. The source code is there for you to look at, too.

All of the functions in that project are digitally identical between the chips you selected. The F84 would be the best of all choices. Good luck.
