Paku, I see your post same subject on the Geotech Forum.  Seems the second coil is just addition of a Pin Pointing coil.   Confusion with schematic you posted here because you did not show provisions to switch from one or the other.    We need Specifications on pin pointing coil.

I see you made changes to the Delay timing .   What is the Minimum Delay now?

Posting your schematic as seen on Geotech.

Paku that's all fine and well for people that have the experience and know how.   We have a pile of folks who would love to build there own detector and if they end up in a sand trap it could prevent them from trying again.  We try to only post Known Working Schematics , documented well enough for them to have  chance at success.

Any thing else need to be labled, Experimental  or What If.  Let them know it's not proven or has not been tried.

 Cool

No deletions.   Just start a new.  Other people need to see how things work.   Thank you for your contributions.  Your Da Man.

Paku on your schematic put the coil inductance, number of turns, wire gauge, resistance and the cable used for connecting the coil to the unit. These are things that are often not included on the schematics and people do not know what to do, also remember that the surf PI is a simple machine to build therefore a lot of beginners will want to build it so if we do not give them all the information they are going straight into disaster.
