OK here it is 3.25cm x 17.2cm just bear in mind that this detector needs to be in motion in order to detect but works very well. If you are going to be building it I suggest that you also build a pin-pointer.

Xavier,

I'm not sure yet if I will build this one. But that is all good information which I did not know.

Thanks again.

WoooooooooooooooooWhoooooooooooooooooooo!

It's here.

Unlike most stuff I get VIA US mail this one was in my mail box. No Stupid Come Pick It Up Note.

Sent Cash Dollars VIA First Class and it took about a week or so to find him. Disguised as a Belated Christmas card.

Got there safe.

Silverdog, Advised me received it and he would send out the kit over the week end.

Well Here I am on the next Monday  (8 Days) and Have it.

Folks this is one of the Best Kits I've ever got.

As Advertised, All PCB component are there.

He even includes Sockets for all IC's.  (You may not want to use some due to Added capacitance)

All I need to Provide is the Pot's and a case.  Coil of course. LOL!

I do have a Original Surf PI Coil and Head Phones.

Not having a scope at this time I'm going to assemble as posted.

Try the original coil and see what's up.

I want a Nugget machine, Can I do it?

We shall see.  LOL!

I have NO IDEA how you do this SilverDog and break even never mind make a few Bob?

Do you have any more kit available?

I think I have some customers for Ya!

Goal is to see a 1/2 gram nugget at 6" or so.

Only Time will Tell.

Thank You, You Done DID Good! SilverDog!

Homefire

Glad to hear it arrived safely, good luck and happy hunting !

Prices may have to increase slightly for the next boards, everything is going up !  and inflation is only 3% - yeh right !!

Got some TGSL boards on order, but Chinese new year holidays now for 2 weeks so expect them towards the end of the month

Working on a pinpointer project as well

regards

Silverdog

Your right on this one Homefire! Nice job by Silverdog on making up the kit. Even the resistors are marked! I've got mine built... just have to get moving and make a coil!

Silverdog got my kit this weekend.  It must have got lost in the mail/post.  It is really nice.  I will get this going soon.  I want my son to build it and learn how to solder and read the resistors and stuff, as I will have to refresh my memory..since it's beennear 20 years since I have did any electronics.

Doug
