I have a original Surf Pi Coil.     It's going to work right?

I'll Twist one up later.   I really want to work on a Spiral etched coil.

Looking for gold Nuggets.

Also the original stock coil for the surf pi is 230uH 1.37ohm.

Ah!......... I had a 9" coil from an "autopulse1" which I'm using.... measures out at about 235uH.
Wondered why it worked so well!   Grin

Well I just used a coil that I had 350uH 2R and it works rather well with that so I'd like to see what it will work like when I have made the proper coil for it.

All the best
Xavier

Hi X,
I think the coil spec has a lot to do with what transistors etc you are using.
Guru GD did explain it to me at one time but I can't find it (at usual)  Funny

Yes it's rather a complex thing working out what coil you're going to need I'm still struggling with that.
