hey all.i am new to m.d.but i have always wanted to get into the swing of it lol
when i went to shopping for a decent detector,i was shocked by the price tags on these machines.
since i am somewhat of a cheapo tighta**,and poor.its was diy for me.i saw silverdogs kit,but i didnt really want  want the long circuit board.
so i used a silkscreen pattern of the square board that was availiable, etched,my own cb.and ordered the parts from a supplier.
it was actually cheaper than the kit but much more labor intensive
the rest of the detector was just built from junk i had in the shop.
if anyone else here wants any more info on this build, you know whwere to find me.cya

Looks like the Original Surf PI!  Post what you have and I'm more then sure people will play with it.  I can't find the parts as cheap as Silverdog provides never mind the time making a good board.
