Good afternoon: First,  be outside, do not try to adjust inside of a building.  Try adjusting your type of use, loudness control, sensitivity, balance and of course that your ant are mounted correctly.  Wonderful deep searchers that wil also find a pint jar of coins.

The instructions that came with it are quite good.  Love mine.

Press the button on the handle but dont let go then at the same time adjust your volume. Same thing happened with mine, its frustrating coz its not mentioned in the mannual. Just discovered it too by accident.... Idea

Hello Motazw and Welcome to Thunting.com . Did you buy your TF-900 New or Used ? . If the loud tone does not go away disconnect the search coils . If the load tone is still there you have a circuit problem . If your machine is new from a Dealer it has a Warranty , then do not take it apart ...............Let us know your Progress .........Best Regards........Eugene

Good morning Mota:  The button on the grip merely resets the sound volumn to your established level.  It is not for setting your base level of sound. This is to control drift or finding the center of  a reaction more precisely, ground matrix  change, etc

I started out with the original 3-D, which then became the White - 900 (?), and now the  T-900  series.  Excellent machines. The present White is 'not' the same machine, only in looks and is not as good.  it is still an excellent machine even so. but the T-900  is the best.

Have fun.
