Hi Xavier,
How many boards do you get coated with one can of +20?
Do you not have Double Sided presensitized PCBs available?.
Nothing wrong with 30-90seconds of sun UV exposure if that`s all one has. (6-10 mins under desktop fluoro).

Or get really flash..check out the lightbox mod/hack at the following link... Shocked!!

Hi Asguard

At first I did wast a bit of the +20 as I had never used it before also I was getting holes in the applied layer of the stuff no mater how well I cleaned the board the trick is to clean the board as well as possible then spray a bit of the +20 and rub the board down with it only then apply a thin coat of +20 for a near perfect finish so now that I have the know how with it I reckon that I should be able to do 15 to 20 boards for the DBP2010 with the small canister. You say that a desktop fluorescent lamp will work? I must try that some time.

Xavier,

That's what I use, for small boards I use my pantigraph type desk lamp and for bigger boards I made up a rectangular reflector with two floro-squigly bulbs facing each other.  I give presensitized boards about 8 mins and get good crisp lines.

BTW what is the +20 you talk about, does it make positive or negative boards?

Hi Dennis

Positive boards thats why it's called +20 I should think.LOL I read that it was not the UV that effected the +20 but rather the frequency of the light is that true? If it is then one could probably make a light box out of led's and an oscillator running at the right frequency it would be lighter and more robust and could be run off an ordinary car battery (just the thing for the bush)

uv led pcb exposure for 6-7 minutes. 12volts.
