Hi Wolfmanspike

The board you see in the pic is my prototype it has since undergone some mods also it would not be worth my while to have these boards made in the USA as I have all the facilities right here from making a proper negative on film to the silk screening but thanks for the offer.

Regards Xavier

OK well then I shall abandon the project if the schematic is such a secret and the attitude of the folks here to having a professsional do a favor for them to make PCBs for less than $3 each is such an intrusion.  Sorry to have bothered you.  I will not be posting to this forum again.  I thought it would be this way after reading through this thread but I decided to give it a shot anyway.  Please do not reply.

What a sour puss, you offer a service, he says no thanks I have the necessaries to produce on site and thanks you for the offer.  He was polite in refusing your offer, yet you fly off into a snit, i don't know what has your knickers in a twist but I think you need to step back and reappraise your position and apologize for being a class "A" jerk.

hello, just checking to see if anybody has posted good sites related to pinpointer schematics?

Posted on: January 09, 2011, 12:03:14 AM
I'm kind of new to this tech stuff.I need very simple schematics to build a pinpointer, can anybody help?

Posted on: January 09, 2011, 12:11:29 AM
I also would like to know the difference between pi and vlf detectors.

Posted on: January 09, 2011, 12:14:01 AM
How are basic search coils constructed.

Posted on: January 09, 2011, 12:16:03 AM
Is there a way to add a pinpointer to a detectors main coil.

Posted on: January 09, 2011, 12:19:09 AM
What is the maximum distance a penny has been detected by a pinpointer?

Posted on: January 09, 2011, 12:21:08 AM
This metal detecting is sooooo cool.

I need to know if anyone can build me the dbp 2010 with perhaps a 2x2 meter coil if possible. I need the deepest penetrating detector I can get my hands on and I know the Golden King by nokta is far from being a deep seeker as I have come to find out the hard way($$$$).......

If anyone can build me this detector or something better, let me know the price you will charge me and how long it will take to build. Personally I wouldn't mind using a home brew detector that used even CAR SIZE batteries as long as it could detect SUPER DEEP.

Please let me know if anyone is interested and what optional coils, etc you can provide.

specify your target size, type of metal, how deep it was buried.

Thanks Ram, but I don't see how specifying these things would help in choosing a detector. Perhaps you would like to inform me on how that matters when choosing a detector (or not lol) as I always thought it was as easy as choosing the detector with the most penetrating power.

It's not that I don't want to tell you these things, it's just that I don't know the specifics of what might be at my site or not. All i know is that there are treasure symbols telling us there is treasure there but do not know what type of treasure or how much, or if it is buried inside an iron box, etc.

I am guessing that perhaps it has something to do with the frequencies and how they differ in detection because each metal has an optimal frequency that can detect it deeper and more sensitively than other frequencies?Huh??
