Rider Hello Gold digger I heard that XR71 is also a clone of DBP2010, it also scans at depth of 400 cm. Is this correct ?

Sigh . . . I honestly do not know. I don't have either one of them.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

the way i've heard it is that the xr71 and the delta pulse are the same detectors with only a few changes in the two.i hear they have great depth also that is to be seen as i am waiting for my pcb to come in.now the new going around is that the dbp-2010 is the best and deepest one out there.that remains to be seen as well. i myself would build one if someone says that the schematics are tested and working and would be willing to give advice and help when needed during the build...now the powerline guy is who i ordered my pcb from as a kit for about $300 usd but there are some other companies out there saling the xr71 and the deltapulse assembled units working with headphones for around $465 usd you just have to have a  good translater
continued i do wish the moderators could all get along with one another we are all here for the same reason i thought.and i was getting ready to ask if everyone wanted to join in and do some group buying to save money and get some parts that are needed and also get some boards made in bulk for projects you can save so much that way.but no one wants to pay the cost of having a pcb made that does not work i know i dont..i would like to see the members have a forum project like all of us build a machine together. that way if we are all working on the same project we could order all the parts needed from one supplyer and save a ton also if someone runs into a problem everyone here is working together on the same thing and could help each other out with advice...but hey thats just my two cents what do i know im just a newbie but thanks for listening oh P.S if this sounds like something you might be interested in just speak up and be heard

Hello There is 1 user named "Ram" in this forum who has built dbp 2010 or xr71 as you say successfully. He has taken the .lay file from Eugene. The question is we need to know which files he has used and we need to invite him here. I have opened the lay file. But I need the part list which "Ram" has used and also we need the coil details. let "Ram" upload the zip file in this forum containing all the files together. So all of us will get a great depth of understanding. His MD has already gone upto 5 Ft in free air I suppose. It is already proven implementation of DBP2010 or XR71.

I will send him PM and invite him on this thread. Please, you all also try.

Kind Regards

Hello As someone has already pointed out in this forum that dbp2010 and xr71 are more or less same except a few registers here and there. But performancewise both are almost equal. And why waste 460 USD for making a device which user "Ram" already built successfully ! I hope you understand the same. Just contact user "Ram" and he will load the zip file with all that he has done here.

I have already sent him email and also a PM and invited him to this thread.

Hope you all have done so.

Thanks.

Eugene will also be able to guide here as the .lay file is from Eugene.  Shocked But I don't see any reason why Eugeue is not doing it.

Request Eugene along with "Ram" to upload a zip file which has been successfully built by "Ram". "Ram" has already informed Eugene in some thread here that he was successfull in building with the help of .lay file.

Hope this helps "Eugene" and "Ram" to sort out and point out the correct schematics and part list and all the details developed by "Ram"
