 I don't know this detector--but I can tell you one that's real good on depth---TREASURE BARON TF 900....It can reach six or seven feet in ground with no problems on a jar or can of old coins or other items. Treasure Baron only costs about $500   If you order direct from the maker of unit (I believe he's in Texas).
