Actually, Mike, the script isn't working for me at all. When I said "what puzzle?" I meant that I saw no challenge so I could not register.

Can you let the powers that be over there know it wasn't working in Firefox? Thanks.

As an update, Mike, it worked with Internet Explorer.

Note to those trying to register, the picture puzzle assembly is VERY precise. Your alignment is critical.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Pulse Metal Detector
description
As the name suggests, this metal detector operates on the pulse method. Here, a strong electromagnetic pulse generated by a coil and then the resulting self-induction analyzed.

Here, attention is paid to the waveform of the induced voltage. The lower and the voltage recovers the faster, the lower the inductance, including the metal content. It is therefore not suitable for the detection of different metal, but it can penetrate very deeply into the ground.

For analysis, a PIC controller is used with integrated AD converter. The display is carried out via a buzzer and the other a seven-segment display.

Since this detector control is meant for underwater use, all switches are realized by reed relays, which are aktivert with magnets through the pressure housing.

The coil has 30 turns and a diameter of about 20 centimeters. To the ''s about you can already see that can also be varied these values. The more turns, the higher the induced voltage, and thus the Tiefe.Je larger the diameter, the higher the sensitivity. But beware: smaller objects no longer distinguishable.
