Have all parts, PCB,  Etchant .  Ran into issues at the library and the Copier.  Seems the Kind older ladies won't let me load my own paper.  Waiting for a sale and will just buy my own $30.00 wonder printer.

I got a Ricoh SP100 B&W from the Post Office shop here for AUD$38- they come with a "half" toner cartridge. When it runs out, a new cartridge is $76- TWICE the price of the bloody printer!! If that ain't corporate capitalist consumerism gone mad, I dunno what is!!
The logical option would be to turf the printer, and buy a new one.
When we are compelled to create waste and landfill in this manner, the powers-that-be aren't doing their job! Angry
But there is an online tutorial on how to drill and refill the old cartridges with generic toner powder.

I have thrown out my last 6 printers when the cartridges ran out because the new cartridges was dearer than a new printer, just bleeding stupid
I've refilled cartridges before , but have lost interest in doing that.

I currently have a pixma MG5660  that I can buy a full set of 5 elcheapo cartridges for Aus$20 at local market  , I will try and change the cartridges
once if they dont work, out goes that printer and on to the next printer.  Idiot

Crazy stuff but that's the way it is..   Good side is you never have to dust off a printer !  LOL  Down side is they make them so crappy now there's not even and good parts to salvage out of them any more.  A few Connectors.  A stepper motor you will never use.  Sometimes a Power supply.  Really not much.
