Hi,
I read about this article in a local paper , but is was to brief to expand on , so i did a search , attached is a link to what is effectively modern day piracy, where $11.5 million dollars in gold bars was taken.

It does raise some questions (i think) and it does catch the imagination considering how obscure it is in todays times. or is it that guy who bumped off his investors in a recent salvage case?

Yes, they are still pirates today.  Right now, I am not worry because I cannot afford to buy a large ship.  Maybe if I find treasure I may buy a large ship with many guns. :D
