nope sorry partner,he lives here near chicago with me,i almost wound down there tho,when my folks were leaving europe,they were either going to America or down under,the ship for Amercica came first and here i be

i have heard of pirates operating on the mississippi and preying on the riverboats so i guess that would be the same for all the major rivers with the commercial trade routes.... sounds like maybe a nice vacation project for the near future

 Rider  the mississippi river... you bet  !   the ohio rivver is a major river with tons of possible sights  ,  but the mississippi is the grand daddy of them all.  look for history books written from 1700 to 1900.  quite often the really old books are behind the counter and are not allowed to be checked out.  for a few bucks you can xerox them.
