I made a suggestion to the White House yesterday that would solve the economic crisis in probably a month or less. I think they should give every household, that filed a tax return in 2008, $100,000. I call it the "gusher up theory" as, obviously, "trickle down" doesn't work. People could save their homes from foreclosure, pay off credit card debt, mortgages, bills, etc and then spend money on new cars or anything else they'd like. Those, not in debt, could invest it in the stock market, real estate, anything. I haven't heard back - yet. Sue

A Great Idea !!! And if you do the math , this proposal will cost less than all of the Spending/Mistakes of President Bush  !!! Plus , the Economy will Recover in Just 3 months and stay prosperous for Years to come . Your idea is so good it will scare polititions , because it is so simple and will put half of them out of work !!!! And if 300 million americans buy one new american car , then the automakers can pay their Loan "Bail-out" back to the Government with interest !! ...........Sue , Thank-You for this Great Idea you posted Today !!!......................Regards...................Eugene52

That's a great idea, but if we use it to pay off credit cards and mortgages, it just keeps going onto the bottomless pits we call banks. To really help the economy, we would all have to use it for something like a treasure hunting adventure in the USA. It's win/win for everyone.

If I actually had 200,000.00 first thing I'd do would be pay off my house so I didn't have to worry about the economy so much. Smiley  It would've been worth a shot anyway.

There is no Value to back this up, so it would lead to very bad Inflation.
Simply printing Money will not help the Economy, it will ruin it.

The Government is already Doing This !!! Trillions are Disappearing , So by putting the money in our pockets we will spend on Important things for our Families survival and it will Boost the Economy !!!!!!!! And it does not need to be $100,000 . The Truth is Polititions have almost destroyed our "Great United States" , and there is no joke about that !!....Or we can "DO NOTHING" and just let the government  keep bailing out companies and the CEO'S , that ripped off our Country to begin with !!..................Eugene
