Hello Members and Guests,
I am attempting to permit a Historic Gold Mining Property in Virginia and need a Mining Engineer to assist in developing an Open Pit Design, layout for settling ponds and overburden along with the additional information required by the Virginia Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy necessary for permitting. The face of the ore zone lies 75 feet below the surface and averages 2.5 feet in thickness. I have the exact location targeted, along with the strike degree and the dip angle. I am anticipating the permitable area of the ore zone to consist of approximately 150,000 cubic feet or nearly 12,000 tons that carries over an ounce per ton of free milling gold. The overburden is all red clay from decomposed mica schist. It carries pay streaks of alluvial gold but I have not decided if it will be worked before or after the ore zone. Working Capital is a premium so getting to the ore zone quickly will be a priority. The right person will be compensated with a healthy portion of ownership that will prove much greater then any salary. Investors and Experienced Miners and Operators are also needed. Investments will be secured with the property and skilled workers can obtain a percentage of ownership or profit sharing. Interested party's may reply here or directly to my email. wkilgorejr@aol.com

What is the land status at this time.   DNR, Private or other?

How much land are you talking about here?

What is the expected Working site area?

What  existing access is available?

Thank you for your response. First of all I would like to know more about you but I will begin with saying this is private property consisting of approximately 50 acres. Being a newbie to the forum, Right now I cannot see your question so I am not sure what else you asked for.

After reposting I was able to see your question again. There is a gravel access road. The topography is a gradual downward trend to the location above the face of the vein. Then the land is reasonably flat for about 150 feet with a gradual climb towards the eastern property line. These changes in terrain are probably only about 25 feet on each side. East to West. North to south would resemble a slight curve like a valley.

I am but a lowly Prospector.

No Engineer.

No Investor.

Just asking questions that I would if I was interested in the Venture.

Asking for Investors Sends out Bells and Whistles.

Will be keeping a eye on your progress if you don't mind.

Other Mod's may take other actions.

Not at all. All is open for any interested party's due diligence. As for investors, when the permitting is approved, I have been promised all the funding I could possibly need. I am just opening it up for someone who may wish to get in on this project. It is very real. Something I have spent nearly 7 years on and over 6 figures already. I am not greedy and there is going to be a lot of money made here when this comes to fruition. I just want to live to see it happen.
