Go Up Go Down

and I'm trying to figure some of this out, here's what some of it sez....

Case Disposition: CLOSED

Receipt Number
03/19/1976 403 LOCATION DATE
10/16/1979 395 RECORDATION NOTICE RECD

08/28/1980 480 EVID OF ASSMT FILED 1980

06/05/1990 885 CASE DESTROYED
01/31/1983 631 ABANDONMENT CLAIM VOID
10/16/1979 500 MAP IN LEAD FILE 42344
10/16/1979 501 ACCT ADV IN LEAD FILE 42344
03/19/1976 404 COUNTY RECORDATION 58972;14;363

So, I can figure out the recording and when the location marker was put up, but do we know what "Abandonment Claim Void" means/  Is it that a abandonment was started and then stopped cause the guy paid his fees...or was there something else?  What does "case destroyed" mean?  Anyone know if I have overlooked an appendix on the BLM site that might tell me what this stuff means?

Looking forward to your replies.  Thanks guys.

so, from what you said, barring someone laying claim, then the claim would be open to me placing a claim....correct?

I know I sound kinda......like a goof maybe (well, thats not quite the word I was thinking), but I just wanna make sure I'm understanding.  And yeah, the more we talk, the more excited about all this I'm getting, muhahahahaha.

That claim is closed.

If you know the case number, Claim Name or location, You need to go to active claims on the map and see if there is a active claim covering it.

LEAD FILE 42344

Plug this number in the Claim search and see what it does?

I use the Map and check the areas I know and have been too.

This all I know:
