Has anybody been to Quartsite, My son Lives in Yuma and has been telling me about a bud of his that goes there every weekend.
He has hinted about Gold, what's there besides quartz?

Quartzite is a Popular area for Dry Washing and Detecting gold.

The little township becomes a City during the Winter months with all the Snow Birds from up North.

Pounded half to death , but still goodies to be found.

Gold is often found in a matrix with quartz. The town is named for that.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
